The summer tide’s now crashing on our roofs with its heat, and we’re reminded of our childhood days a bit – of ice candies, hopscotch & garage sales. There was excitement in the air as neighbors & friends dug through each other’s pile of knickknacks and clothing. Sweet, sweet times.
Inspired by these oldtime memories, we’ve rolled up our sleeves and worked hard to finally bring you the first of our series of seasonal pop-up fairs like you’ve never seen before in Manila. This first one we’re calling Finders Keepers.
It’s just like your typical summertime garage sale, except now alongside a community of creative like-minds and local brands with unique, well-selected goods, delicious grub, lively music, craft workshops, interactive features and new friends – all carefully curated by the Eden & June team.
We’ve got amazing homegrown brands and creatives joining as merchants such as Sunday Paper, Soleil Ignacio, Polly Patch and Luang alongside up-and-coming brands like Kudu Initative and Daydream Republic. Only some on our line-up of performers is Nathan Huang, Sabu, Keiko Necesario and Reese Lansangan. We’ve got available workshops you may now save a seat for and even live art demos for you to enjoy ♡
Of course, we owe much to our event partners The Tent at Acacia Estates, Studio MaMa, Home Folk Living, Illumina Digital Printing, Wonder Photo Shop (Fujifilm) as well as our corporate sponsors who share in our knack for making crazy ideas come alive. Kudos to Young STAR, Scout, NOLISOLI, DiscoverMNL and WheninManila.com for helping us spread the word about Finders Keepers too!
There’s so much more news to come so check back here or our FB event page through the coming weeks to stay updated! Better yet, follow us on social media – we’re @edenandjune on both Facebook and Instagram.
